Background: As an artist, I've always felt comfortable working with my hands. After graduating high school, I
pursued an education in sculpture at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. I enjoyed learning new art
techniques, but something was missing. I felt like my art was helping myself, but not others. A few months
down the road, I met a massage therapist while vacationing in California, and my life took a different path. I
soon enrolled at The Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy, where I met my husband, Terence. I felt
therapy, I can help anyone, from calming a stressed-out business person, to soothing the aches and pains
of a cancer patient. And that is where I have found the true rewards of massage therapy.
